Manufacturers. Suppliers. Plumbing companies. When we invest together in the next generation, everybody wins. TPC is how the industry builds its own workforce — trained, tested, and ready for the truck on day one.
Plumbing companies across Texas face the same recruiting problems. You need apprentices, but untrained hires cost you time, money, and risk.
When an untrained apprentice gets on a truck, your plumber slows down. The first 3–6 months are spent teaching basics instead of running calls. That's revenue lost, schedules delayed, and margins eroding every single day.
Many new hires haven’t committed to a career in plumbing. They’re testing the waters. When they leave after 2 months, you’re back to square one — plus the cost of onboarding wasted.
Companies require a year of experience before hiring, yet there’s no structured training that delivers it. The entry barrier keeps good candidates out and leaves positions unfilled.
TPC produces apprentices whose repetition, exposure, and hands-on readiness genuinely match the capability of a 6–12 month field apprentice. Your plumber will still teach — that never changes — but the frustration of training someone completely green will be radically reduced. The goal: your plumbers in the field asking where you found this apprentice and how to get more.

Partner companies get first access to our graduates. You choose the apprentices that fit your crew and your culture.
DWV, water, gas, fixtures, OSHA 10 certified, tool identification — our apprentices show up ready, not learning the basics on your dime.
Sponsor an apprentice and get your open position filled. If it’s not the right fit, we work with you to find one that is.
All contributing partners are recognized with their company logo displayed on our sponsorship banner at the training facility entry.
Join a consortium of plumbing companies, suppliers, builders, and manufacturers working together to strengthen the Texas plumbing workforce.
TPC is a registered nonprofit. Your partnership contribution — whether monetary, material, equipment, or labor — is tax-deductible.
We build our training facility and programs collaboratively — with input, materials, and expertise from across the industry. Every contribution matters, and every contributor is recognized.
Fund a seat in the cohort and get priority hiring access to that apprentice upon graduation. Your investment goes directly to workforce development.
Manufacturers and suppliers can contribute fittings, pipe, tools, water heaters, fixtures — everything apprentices train on in our facility.
Send a licensed plumber to assist with facility build-out, lead a training session, or mentor a cohort. Your team’s knowledge strengthens the next generation.
Direct financial contributions help us expand facilities, hire instructors, and keep the program free of tuition for apprentices. Every dollar is tax-deductible.

By December 2028, TPC will be recognized statewide as the organization reviving the true apprenticeship model. What began in San Antonio will expand into Austin and Dallas, with Houston in active development.
Each location will operate as a connected hub in a unified statewide network — raising training standards, strengthening companies, and bringing new talent into the trade with confidence and clarity.
I believe that every stakeholder in the plumbing industry has a critical role to play. By uniting manufacturers, suppliers, and plumbers in every sector, we can create a community dedicated to lifelong learning and continuous improvement. The apprenticeship model doesn’t need reinvention — it needs revival.
Join the companies investing in the next generation of skilled plumbers. Whether you sponsor an apprentice, donate materials, or contribute expertise — your partnership builds futures and fills positions.
