Students Per class

TPC accepts 5 students per class based on their work ethic and commitment to building a career in plumbing.

week training course

TPC teaches students in 6 weeks what it would take 6-12 months to learn on the job. All the training is hands on at our training facility.

Hourly pay

Students need to earn a living while they learn, so our generous donors make it possible to pay $13 an hour throughout the course.

Here are the steps we take students through.

Step 1

Application

We review applications and conduct interviews in order to find
students who are committed to building a career in plumbing.
No education, job experience or other qualifications are required.

Step 2

Training

Students go through a rigorous full-time six week, hands on training program taught by a retired master plumber. Students are paid $13 an hour during training.

Step 3

Graduation & Certification

Graduates have a robust understanding of complete plumbing systems and a skill level equivalent to a 6-12 month on the job trained apprentice. Graduates also receive their apprentice license, multiple manufacturer certificates, and their OSHA 10 certificate.
